Andy and Cammy Sherfey

2022 was our first year being instructors at Rodeo Bible Camp and we had a blast. We are passionate about helping horses and riders be successful and reach their full potential. Andy and Cammy were married in 2020, and together they have over 70 years of horse experience.

Andy grew up in Nebraska on cattle ranches and feedlots, he has been training colts and riding horses from a very young age. He has been roping since he could walk, he has decades of roping experience in and out of the arena. He has ridden Ranch Broncs, team roped, owned a band of bucking horses, and He now trains performance horses professionally. One of his big passions is picking up at rodeos, he worked for the Bad Medicine Rodeo company out of Wyoming for 6 years.

Cammy grew up in Rexburg on a farm and beef ranch, she has ridden horses her entire life. She has competed in and held numerous titles in: 4H, reining, cutting, queening and rodeo. She has trained and built her own horses her whole life. Cammy coached all of her daughters and youngest son who have all ridden and competed in 4H and rodeo. She now works with Andy training horses and teaching rodeo lessons to young students.

Kelby Schneiter

I am Kelby Schneiter. I am a two time Idaho State Champion Bareback Rider and the 2021 NHSRA bareback riding world champion. I have attended Western Texas College for one year and I qualified for the 2022 CNFR. I have competed in the PRCA rodeos but a shoulder injury has put me out for a year. I am excited to be a part of this years school. I love to help in anyway I can to improve the next generation of bareback riders. Anyone attending this school will hopefully school me at riding bareback horses as soon as they have the chance.

Carson Simper

Hi my name is Carson Simper and I am the bull riding instructor for the Rigby Rodeo Bible Camp. I am a 4 time state qualifier as well as a qualifier to the 2022 NHSRA finals. I currently rodeo for the College of Southern Idaho where I qualified for the 2023 CNFR. I’m excited to work with future bull riders and give them the tools to be successful in the sport. Hope to see you all in Rigby.

Hello! I am Raylee Reeves. I will be your Barrel and Pole Director this year.

I come from a very long line of horse women and I went to college as an all around cowgirl. I have been on horses my entire life and rodeoed or ran barrels the better part of that life.

I love running barrels and poles, roping, and training horses. I love helping others with their goals in the sport as well. But most importantly, I love God and Jesus. I love being able to help connect the two for others and show them how to be a Christian Competitor.

I look forward to meeting you all to learn and worship together!

Hello, I am Lacey Worthen and I am excited to be a part of the Rigby rodeo Bible camp this year as I will be the goat tying coach this year! I have been goat tying since I was a kid and I was blessed enough to make it to nationals in the goat tying from junior high all the way through high school. I also competed in the goat tying while I was in college and throughout my career in the goat tying I have been to numerous clinics with Lynn Smith who has trained many winners in college/high school. I look forward to making lots of memories at rodeo bible camp and help build a relationship with god through this sport we love! See you there!

Jill Lufkin

My name is Jill Lufkin and I will be your camp instructor for the breakaway roping! I have won many titles in the breakaway including IMPRA, NRA, ICA, world’s richest breakaway, and thankfully a few more. But my greatest accomplishments have been teaching people how to rope. I have taught high school champions, college champions and even champions at Rodeo Bible Camp! I have made life long friends through rodeo. I hope to introduce kids to roping here at Rodeo Bible Camp and give them a chance to not only win rodeos ,but in life.

Ryland Lufkin and Chase Pinter

We are very excited to be the team roping instructors for this years Rigby camp. Chase and I are the owners of Running P Performance Horses, training and selling team roping, breakaway horses and more. We both love rodeo and love to rope. There’s no better way to grow your relationship with the Lord than from the back of a horse. We are looking forward to meeting you all and teach you about team roping as well as growing your relationship with Jesus!

I will be instructing the Chute Dogging and calf roping @ SEIRBC in Rigby. I attended my first rodeo bible camp 20 years ago when I got to tag along with my Mom when she instructed breakaway at the camp in Downy, and when I came of age went every year I could. I love the lord and learn and grow every day in my walk with him. My wife Lacey and I currently work full time and train performance horses. I can’t wait to help the up and coming generation not only in the arena but in their relationship with God.
